How do I encourage learners?

Nessy rewards effort with 'nuggets' across all five learning programs.

Students can spend their nuggets in Jungle Town if access is enabled, but they also often take pride in how many nuggets they may have earned by working through exercises.

You may wish to encourage this, eg. by awarding learners with certificates for reaching certain milestones. Printable Nessy certificates can be found in the Resources section of Classroom.

Do you want to recognise effort that was shown outside of the Nessy platform? (eg. for completing Nessy worksheets)

To gift nuggets, you'll need to be logged in to Nessy Classroom.

1. From the homepage, click the Gift Nuggets tile.
   
   

   

   
   

2. Use the search bar to locate the student you’d like to gift nuggets to, then use the drop-down menu to select how many nuggets you’d like to gift.
   
   

   

   
   

3. Once selected, click the Gift nuggets button to send the gift to the chosen student.
   
   Your student will receive a notification of their gifted nuggets when they next log in.
